The Tightwad Fire Protection District Board of Directors by a majority vote adopts policies and administrative procedures which:
Provide authority, defines responsibilities & reduces ambiguities
Ensure compliance & encourages consistency
Provide direction/guidance & serves as training tool
Build transparency
Reduce risk & build risk-consciousness
The Board of Directors also adopts special rules of order and standing rules.
Special and standing rules of order, policies, and administrative procedures remain in effect until rescinded or amended by the Tightwad Fire Protection DIstrict Board of Directors.
The District Manager, Privacy Officer, and Information Security Officer roles listed in the District's polices and practices has not yet been approved and any reference to these roles in the District's policies and practices shall mean the Special Master.
Tightwad Fire Protection District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Tightwad Fire Protection District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
